it feels like an anime series.

A cool book. The protagonist is OP but it was expected with the story set up. There is a world before this book and has yet to give the protagonist any real goal or adversities.
I’m looking forward to the next book but I hope the protagonist gets a goal that seems worthwhile.

This is a class & level-based LitRPG fantasy story where the protagonist has a massive advantage as if they had discovered an “exploit” on the game system. Many stories of this kind feature a “harem” fetish, where the main character attracts a coterie of sexual partners. This is not that kind of story, for a mercy.
Having said that, however, it is remarkable that he does have a coterie, one of which is a a thirteen-year-old boy, even if their exchanges are not sexual in nature. They all, nevertheless, feel enormous admiration and gratitude for the main character.
Ultimately, this novel fails. It fails because it labours the reason for the main character being so capable, which is that he spent an immeasurable amount of time contemplating his navel in the space between systems. It is hard to see how such a paragon might evolve because he is already so tough that nothing seems to provide a substantial challenge. He does not, as it were, grow as a character, although he certainly acquires levels and special classes.
It also fails because the author has presumed that we would admire the main character as his coterie do. At one point he berates the thirteen-year-old boy for making a flawed choice. It is an eye-opening exchange. If a real world person saw a man in their late twenties thumping and haranguing a boy like this, there would be an intervention and, in fact, the constabulary might be called. Most people would see it as abuse.
The author, on the other hand, believes that we will read this and understand that the main character has the best interests of the child at heart and know that this form of “tough love” is entirely acceptable.
it seems to me that the author has formed the opinion that his readership accepts bullying so long as it is from the main character and it accords with his narrative.

Mc is clearly a psychopath. Totally unlikeble.why would someone write a book about a guy who you would avoid like the plague. Who abuses children,who lets people die for no reason then chats with their family with no remorse.i am worried about the mentàl state of the author as they seem to think this is a guy to admire.

These 2 clearly believe the MC is god and carries the sins of everyone.
Its easy to judge others when you have no power and you don’t get to deal with consequences. This writer has already had the MC face some consequences for his actions and attitude but the MC is a good and helping the living be better.
Its like giving a hungry person a fish or teaching a hungry person to fish. Some people will be angry you didn’t give him a fish.

I have to disagree with @tomted78 statement.
MC doesn’t let people die for fun. He chose not to give a total stranger a rare life saving potion because he has no idea if he’ll be able to acquired another one for himself in the near future.
Who would give up something that can save your life? That would be stupid. The author makes this situation pretty clear.

Anyway story is boring. Overpowered MC facing no challenge, 2/3 of the book is MC picking/thinking about skills and reading his stats. Nothing worth spending 12 hours on.
