These are a compilations in an effort to reseed older uploads. Being lumped with newer books the older books can be seeded by newer downloaders

@vanerick That makes no sense. Anyone downloading this file will not be getting or seeding the older ones. This will only reduce their seeding.
I’m sure the uploader means well, but not a good idea.

I think this is a bad idea. Just create a torrent with the books as separate M4Bs. That way if people already have some of them then they can just choose the ones they want. Also if they have listened to some already it’s much easier to manage.
It might be possible to split them up, but why combine them in the first place?

I’m not thrilled with the idea of combining all these volumes into one massive file, either
if I wish to binge listen them there are many programmes that will convert and concatenate music files, splitting them is more complicated.

@Leea337: I’m not talking about torrents 2 days old.
We have 40,000 torrents here going back more than 14 years.
The test is which stay seeded after it has gone from the front page and all the hit and runners have moved on.
Anyway, some hints for dealing with these files in the forum, including how to split.
