“What makes this audiobook essential listening is not just its content (a mix of enthusiasm and castigation), but the electricity of Winterson’s narration.”
- Times
Twelve bytes. Twelve eye-opening, mind-expanding, funny and provocative essays on the implications of artificial intelligence for the way we live and the way we love - from Sunday Times best-selling author Jeanette Winterson.
In this original, deeply researched and lively new book, Jeanette Winterson traces the history of the AI revolution. She talks to some of the boldest and most imaginative thinkers in the field and looks to religion, myth and literature to help us understand the radical changes to the way we live and love that are just around the corner.
When we create non-human life-forms, will we do so in our image? Or will we accept the once-in-a-species opportunity to remake ourselves in their image?
What do love, caring and attachment look like with a non-biological life form? And what happens to the gender binary?
What will happen when our destiny is not contained by physical bodies, and our destination is not planet Earth?
With wit, compassion and curiosity, Winterson tackles AI’s most urgent talking points, and asks listeners to consider their role in imagining a more just and equal future.

Thanks for uploading this book. Really appreciate it.
⭐⭐⭐👉I want to share this info with people coming over here to download stuff.
On 19 nov 23 a book called ‘on palestine’ by naom Chomsky and pappe was uploaded on the site and I wanted to download it, after a few hours when i came back to download it, i found that it was removed.
There is this person with the user name of ‘freepalestine’ some of his uploads that gave the point of view of Palestine have been removed as well.
I know this is a piracy site and you can not point fingers at people for doing something, but I wanted to point this out.
I want folks who come here to check it for themselves and know that this is happening.

Don’t sweat the small stuff, Mastram, it’ll eatcha up on yer insides. Why, anyone’d think you were ol’ robo FP his very self, bearin’ grudges. Cheer up, Hanukkah is on its happy way.

We like to think, pride ourselves as a species even, that we are shaping advanced technology in our own image. What we are less prone to acknowledge is that the reverse is also true. That is a huge sacrifice to make.

This is for Mastram, and those who associate with said user.
