I don’t know why the cover says it’s narrated by the author, because it isn’t.

From what I understand he’s narrated some of his other books, so he likely had the cover made with that in mind. So perhaps somewhere along the line they decided to get a professional narrator. There’s another version of the cover with the correct narrator (which can be seen on the narrator’s blog: https://rbwatkinson.wordpress.com/2019/12/26/narrating-and-review-smoke-and-stone-city-of-sacrifice-book-1-by-michael-r-fletcher/), however the cover on audible has the wrong one.

Thanks for the alternate (and correct) cover version. A bit weird that audible had an incorrect version of it.

He did a damn fine job narrating “Black Stone Heart”. You can tell he gets better as he gets farther into the book and by the end he is excellent, especially doing different voices. I wish he would have read this one also.
