I just want to thank the uploader. I wasn’t familiar with this author or series just this month, and I’m halfway through The Brief, and it’s really great! The reading & voice acting by Colin Mace is outstanding, and it’s an exceptionally well written and absorbing genre novel. I can’t say it’s great literature, and I’m quite sure that the dialogue and word choice of the characters does not correspond to what such people were saying 66 years ago. But it does deal with important social issues, and it’s clearly written from a progressive perspective, but the point of the novel is entertainment and that’s a good thing.
