PHOEBE JUNIOR
Mrs Oliphant wrote her last chapter of the Chronicles of Carlingford when Lucilla Marjoribanks got married.
It’s now 1875 and Mrs Oliphant returns to the town to focus on Phoebe Beecham’s family - with the jealousies and rivalries of Carlingford between the Church and the Dissenters and Society and its shopkeepers.
Phoebe Beecham has met Clarence Copperhead at a Ball in London. His wealthy father disapproves of her and she fortuitously leaves London to visit her sick Grandmother in Carlingford. But a shock awaits her on arrival…

It’s not from Audible.
Sourced from BBC Sounds at 320kbps 48kHz & I then edit off the continuity announcer and save it as a VBR.
Should (in theory) sound better than an Audible transcode due to the high bitrate source & my encodes usually have a bitrate between 130 - 160 kbps vbr mp4.
