An IT-worker-turned-interdimensional-adventurer contends with deadly dungeons, relationship woes, and office ennui in the third book of this madcap series.
You might think a month away from fighting sentient cubical supplies in a threatening alt-reality office would mean a break for James Lyle. But . . . you’d be wrong. Even though James has taken a beat from adventuring into the dungeon hidden within the stairwell of his workplace, he’s been dealing with plenty of stress-inducing issues, from raising a recently corporeal infomorph to navigating his newly minted relationship with his best friends, fighting his own depression, and wrestling with the moral implications of his burgeoning powers.
Meanwhile, James, Anesh, and Alanna are searching for other dungeons to explore—to worrying results. While they’ve been seeking out more of the magical zones, it seems those very places have been looking for them in return. Now it’s time for James and his crew to go back into the office dungeon, no matter the danger. Because it appears the latest world they’ve stumbled upon is starting to fight back—and they might be the only ones standing between humanity and some rather gruesome deaths.
The brilliant, hilarious, and moving blend of slice of life, role-playing games, progression fantasy, world-building, and office snark continues with the binge-worthy third entry in the Daily Grind series.

So has the main character finished congratulating himself how awesome and heroic he and his friends are and stopped non-stop complaining about how annoying everyone is despite himself being the most annoying person in the book my far?
I was told that the author tripled down on the romance and had a meltdown calling people that did not like it a far-right fascist, but the extremely poorly cobbled up romance was nowhere as bad as the main character’s attitude. In fact I would take trice more of their extremely amateur and somewhat laughable attempt of LGBT themes in exchange for less annoying main character.

Can you upload book 4 and 5

actually marcelo, he has resorted to actually congratulating himself with a whole page of text every 13 pages. he certainly loves himself. i really dont think this kind of book is for you. Go read “of mice and men” by steinbeck, or the giver by lowry. hell you may enjoy “history is all you left me” by silvera. all three will make you feel as though you dont understand the simple question of “why go on”.
just stop complaining about the “free” audiobook if you dont like it. to think you’d actually act any different if you discovered some dungeon in your cubical office space one night is beyond me. You would probably quit reality, and 100% commit yourthoughts to the “office-dungeon”.
