This book actually aint to bad, that said book nr 2 is the one that will hopefully verify the acceptability of a series.
Lately there has been nothing good released in the SCIFI line at all. The few series I had marked of as acceptable have come out with a book 2 or 3 that just did not equal nor exceed the low expectations I had set based on prior releases. Sad stuff..
