The volume of the various voices in this book varied quite a lot, so I have fixed that for this encode.

World War Z꞉ An Oral History of the Zombie War
Visceral, disturbing and chilling in its realism, World War Z is perhaps the most famous work from the world’s foremost expert on our undead counterparts.
“The end was near.” Voices from the Zombie War.
The Zombie War came unthinkably close to eradicating humanity. Max Brooks, driven by the urgency of preserving the acid-etched firsthand experiences of the survivors from those apocalyptic years, traveled across the United States of America and throughout the world, from decimated cities that once teemed with upwards of thirty million souls to the most remote and inhospitable areas of the planet.
He recorded the testimony of men, women, and sometimes children who came face-to-face with the living - or at least the undead - hell of that dreadful time. World War Z is the result. Never before have we had access to a document that so powerfully conveys the depth of fear and horror, and also the ineradicable spirit of resistance, that gripped human society through the plague years.

Thank you, is this the complete edition?

It is unabridged, just a hair under 14 hours.

@prettyrandom I listened to a bit of this, and I’m 99% sure this is the UK version with Christopher Ragland, Rupert Farley, etc. and not the US version with Alan Alda, Mark Hamill, etc.
The UK version is completely unabridged (14 hours), but doesn’t have the all-star cast. The US version is slightly abridged (12 hours, missing two short stories and the footnotes I think), but has the big names.
The whole history of this audiobook production is a big confusing mess, lol. It was originally just a 6 hour abridged book with the all stars, but they later got back as many of the actors as they could to record the missing parts, and added some big names like Simon Pegg and Alfred Molina. But unfortunately some of the original actors were unavailable, and instead of recasting they just omitted the parts of stories where they’d be reading.
